$21M Verdict for Plaintiff in Entertainment Ponzi Scheme

In this federal case, investors claimed entertainment financiers had collected millions of dollars to finance the production of a number of films which in fact did not exist.

During this two-day trial, Defendant determined not to show up, and the jury was presented with numerous audio and video exhibits, expertly sourced, edited and presented on demand by JURIS LTS.

These exhibits featured recorded Zoom meetings between the investors and financiers in which two-year timelines and statuses were shared by financiers about productions invested in. When production companies were asked to verify the statuses, they denied knowledge of any production at all.

Verdict awarded to Plaintiff for the full amount of $21M.
